Secure Data Storage

All data you enter into e2cargo is stored in Microsoft SQL Server databases which are hosted on dedicated database servers. All e2cargo databases are backed up regularly. Even in the very unlikely event of temporary loss of data, it is possible to restore all data from backups. Also, we strictly separate our data with a strong client/customer relationship model.

Secure Data Transmission

We use SSL for secure data transmission. This means all data transfers between your desktop and our web application are encrypted by the same method that is used for online banking and the transfer of credit card numbers via internet. It also means that you can be sure that e2cargo.com is not a fake website or used for fraud, as the identity is verfified via an InstantSSL certificate from Comodo (http://www.instantssl.com).

Secure usage of passwords

We save your passwords only as hash numbers, which means that neither we or anyone else can ever see your actual password. The hashing algorithm generates a different hash number for each password, but in such a way that it is impossible to retrieve the password from the hash representation.

Who is using e2cargo?

You - and other shippers and freight forwarders, for whom mobility is very important. You have access to your logistics information whenever you need it, wherever you are - on site, at the port or airport, at the service station or at home.
